• 1440 AD: The first printing press is assembled in Germany.
• 1839 AD: The telegraph makes its debut in Great Britain.
• 1880s AD: Telephones and motion pictures make their debut.
• 1920s AD: Radio broadcasts begin.
• 1930s AD: The television becomes commercially available.
• 1935 AD: Invention of the telex.
• 1957 AD: First radio transmission through a satellite.
• 1970 AD: Commercial introduction of the fax machine.
• 1979 AD: Japan creates the first 1G network for mobile phones.
• 1990s AD: Commercial adoption of the Internet, the first smart phone,
